The focus of our teen department is to guide teens through our wonderful collection of library materials, programs, Internet resources and research guides. Our library collection includes books, magazines, videos / DVD's, music CD's, books on CD and graphic novels. Teens can apply for their own library cards at sixteen. What's New?
New Teen Newsletter
Each month we will be putting out a newsletter. Highlighted are new titles to our collection, an advice column called "Advice from the couch" as well as a "Let it Out - in print" where teens can submit artwork, poetry, short stories, etc. Also included is an events calendar for our Thursday afternoon drop in programs.
Let the artist in you OUT!!!
Painting, sketching, cartooning, poetry, short prose, lyrics, photography - you name it - we want your talent! Send submissions to lisa@brockvillelibrary.ca and we may include your work in upcoming editions of "Off Topic". Remember to keep size in mind - make sure we can adapt your work to this format (maximum 350 words for written material.) So go on - let it out!
iBistro - Our New Online Catalogue
You can now access our library catalogue from our main page at www.brockville.canlib.ca. With this new system you can review and renew your library materials, as well as place holds from home.

Graphic Novel Collection
We have been busy developing our graphic novel collection. Our B.L.T. Board made several selections is this collection this past fall. To search for graphic novels in our catalogue, go to www.brockville.canlib.ca and click on power search. Leave all the search fields blank, but under "Location" select "Young Adult Graphic Novels, 2nd Floor". This will pull up all the titles in this collection. **HINT: you can do this for all collections!!
