FUN WITH BOOKS is a non-profit charitable organization that has been distributing books free of charge to kids in Leeds and Grenville counties in Ontario, Canada since December 1993.

  • The Children's Literature Web Guide
    The Children's Literature Web Guide is an attempt to gather together and categorize the growing number of Internet resources related to books for Children and Young Adults. Much of the information that you can find through these pages is provided by others: fans, schools, libraries, and commercial enterprises involved in the book world.

    Has books online and some that are read to you!
  • HarperCollins Children's
    This site is dedicated to HarperCollins Children’s Books, contains links about authors, books, movies, etc. It contains a search to allow you to find a specific book and links to purchase.
  • The Internet Public Library Author Page
    This site contains many links to literature for kids. As well as links to computer information, sports, games, etc and directs you to literature to for further information on each subject.
  • Picture Book Database
    The Children's Picture Book Database at Miami University (CPBD@MU) is a bibliography for designing literature-based thematic units for all disciplines, including health education. Their database contains abstracts of over 5000 picture books for children, preschool to grade 3. Search over 900 keywords (topics, concepts, and skills) to locate books with storylines adaptable to your curriculum or program.
  • Read up on it!
    A program to promote Canadian children’s literature and reading. It highlights notably books on a variety of themes, and features awarding winning Canadian Children’s books in all categories.
  • StoryPlace: the children's digital library
    StoryPlace, an interactive web site, came about to provide children with the virtual experience of going to the library and participating in the same types of activities the library offers.
