Excellent site for Online Federal Government forms. You can search either by topic or through and A-Z index. (passport, child tax, unemployment, Canada pension, health card, social insurance, Canadian citizenship etc.) This site also has a "Government Contacts" section and you can search for member of parliament by your postal code or by the MP's name.

You can search this site by Title of the Form, Number of the Form or Search new forms offered online.

Canada Gazette I,II,III
The Canada Gazette is one of the vehicles that Canadians can use to access the laws and regulations that govern their daily lives. It has been the "official newspaper" of the Government of Canada since 1841. This website allows for easy access to information about it and getting it online.

House Government Bills
Bills may be reprinted a number of times throughout the legislative process, but not necessarily at all stages. On this site you will find links to the versions of bills studied at the various stages in the House of Commons. These tables do not, however, indicate the legislative stages completed for the bills.

For information about the legislative stages completed, as well as background, analysis and other general information on most bills, please consult LEGISinfo, prepared by the Library of Parliament. Please note: The printed version (as opposed to this on-line version) is the official version of the bill.

Key areas of this site are "Pulse of the Economy" and "Resources About…", "Key Economic Events".

Trade Data Online
A resource listing the imports and exports between Canada and over 200 countries. Click on "Canada and U.S. Trade by Product". Under "Trade Type" select either "Total Exports" or "Total Imports". Under trader select either Canada as a whole or individual provinces. Under "Value In" choose either U.S. dollars, Cdn dollars or percentage value. (you will likely use the Cdn dollars). Under time period you can select a specific year, range of years, last 5 years or last 10 years. Under "Trading Partner", select the country you are interested in. Under "Product Search"you can choose to list all products, or the top 25 products. Finally click on "Run Report". Do not choose "Run Graph".
